Doug Vining Food tech for hero farmers

Who says technology only benefits big corporations? The future of a global, highly connected, highly urbanised and tech-enabled society lies in co-creation, co-production and collaborative consumption. For basic things like food and energy too. We envisage a future where micro producers of solar power and fresh vegetables are connected on platforms that let them operate more efficiently than huge, centralised utilities and industrial farms.

It's already happening with car services and foreign exchange, room rentals and more. Telecoms, food and energy won't be far behind.
