Brett Dawson Lucrative Industry

The industry is under-performing but I am confident that technology developments and lots of "tech-billionaires" will want to fund what must be everyone's dream - to get out there! I think we're going to see a lot more activity in this area.

Doug Vining Expanding space in space

NASA has ordered an add-a-room for the Space Station from Bigelow, to be delivered by SpaceX. This is exactly the kind of commercialization of space that we envisaged with our MindBullet from eight years ago!

Doug Vining Blowing up a space room

Six years ago, when we published this MindBullet about blow-up space modules, possibly the building blocks for the first space hotel, I thought it sounded a little far-fetched. Now the first experimental module from Bigelow has been attached to the International Space Station and will be expanded next month.

The first launch-and-landing of a SpaceX rocket on the California coast is significant, because it hints at a future where rockets will take off and land, as a matter of routine, at major cities and seaports around the world. And that's definitely part of Elon's vision for the BFR.
