A career in the construction industry provided constant opportunity to create new solutions of technology, business and people, including the political and construction challenge of the Channel Tunnel and other multi-billion public and private projects.

As Strategy Director and Business Relationship Director at Laing O'Rourke, one of the world's largest privately owned construction firms, Sam worked worldwide creating extraordinary business growth, inspired networks of business partners and a company recognized as the industry leader focused on radical strep-change and innovation.

Sam has also played the role of technology innovator, inspiring the open adoption of WiFi and partnering the launch of Intel's Centrino technology in 2003. He has partnered with multi-faceted, multi-national companies in technology, manufacturing, finance, and construction sectors, and driven strategic change programs for Government and Public Sector organizations in Education, Health, Defense, Infrastructure and Justice.

Sam is known for his passionate communication skills and his ability to move mindsets towards future opportunities.

He has lived and worked in UK, Europe, Abu Dhabi, Singapore, Korea and USA, and currently divides his time between the US and UK.
