Reading faces, reading minds

Can you read someone's mind, just by picking up on their facial cues? People who profess to be mentalists claim they can, together with body language and other non-verbal communication. They use that information to predict behaviour, or at least tell whether people are lying.

Soon your smartphone or wearable computer will be able to do the same thing, and give you an 'extra-sensory' ability to divine people's true emotions, and perhaps what they are thinking. Could that change your business interactions?
