The future of AI

We published a MindBullet some time ago which postulated that, in the future, AI would come to mean augmented intelligence rather than artificial intelligence. Elon Musk seems to agree. He thinks the future lies in closer connection between our brains and smart systems. This might involve us becoming symbiotes with an AI linked directly to our neural system. That is exactly the scenario explored by the FutureWorld associate and MindBullets Contributor Gavin Chait in his recent sci-fi novel 'Lament for the Fallen.' It's well worth reading.
