Banking your genome

So now they really are offering to bank your DNA, or your full genome rather, so that your doctor can have the most complete medical record ever.

But think about the implications. Soon we will be able to manufacture DNA on demand, using the basic chemical building blocks. Then we'll also be able to make stem cells, put them in a 3D printer, and make replacement organs. So your genome effectively becomes a blueprint for making another you. That's about as personal as you can get!
