Are we changing fast enough?

Trading DNA on EBay? A scary prospect but that and other equally daunting prospects may challenge us in the years ahead as we approach what some already call an 'extreme future'. Extreme or not, it will be very different. Ask the politicians in North Africa! My question is how rapidly are we as individuals and as corporations embracing change and developing our ability and in fact passion for change? Is our own rate of change slower than the pace of change around us? if so, how long will it be before we are faced with irrelevance?

Someone said only yesterday that suddenly, innovation is the safe business option! To change is less risky than doing nothing...something we have been advocating for years!
