Deeply concerned about the line of this preduiction

Dear editors with all the respect this prediction sounds a little bit racist and it really disappointed me because I really like to read your predictions!

Unfortunately on this post you imply that migrants do not contribute in anything to the countries that receive them and more than that you insinuate that they could become in a heavy load for those Rich generous and mainly white countries.

Honestly this is a shame, I believe that you can be much more smarter and inclusive than that, we are living critical times and this kind of messages help to polarize more the situation, it wouldn’t be better look for a more constructive topics that help to improve the international relationships?

This post really sounded as a marketing message of an extreme nationalist supporters!

Doug Vining Dear Juan, thank you for this comment, it's great to get feedback from our subscribers! We welcome every comment and point of view. However, I must emphatically point out that, at FutureWorld we do not make predictions or advocate policies. Rather we attempt to paint scenarios of what could possibly happen in the future, so that business executives and other leaders can think strategically about their present choices, and possible future outcomes. Many of our scenarios are based on emerging technologies and their adoption; occasionally we like to highlight social and political trends - even if they are politically incorrect! But that doesn't mean we are recommending or taking a position on policy, merely pointing out the possible consequences.

Personally I think this particular scenario is unlikely; I am told no Swedish party is seriously considering UBI. However, it is thought-provoking to consider the possibilities if they did, in the future. Regards, Editor.
