Creating a vortex to speed communication
Posted: 25 October 2018

Researchers have succeeded in making a device that can decode twisted light, improving the throughput for fibre optic data transmissions dramatically. Years ago we speculated that something similar might be possible for radio frequency transmissions. Could it happen in the future?
