Democratizing food production

Dubai certainly has an eye to the future, and is keen to embrace new tech, from drones to blockchain to driverless cars. Now they are also looking at a substantial investment in urban (vertical) farming. The reasoning is sound, as they want to manage their own supply chain, and can afford the capital outlay. It will be interesting to see how this develops.
